The wedding reception followed, held in both the Pavilion and Boat Shed, which offered plenty of room for guests to dance, eat, and celebrate.

The wedding ceremony kicked off at 3:30pm, with the Duke Duo providing beautiful pre-ceremony music, setting the tone for the guests’ arrival. The ceremony itself was conducted by the wonderful Jenny Du, who also served as the MC later in the evening.

For the processional, Angus and Katrina chose “The Wedding” from The Theory of Everything, a beautiful piece that captured the emotional weight of the moment. The song was carefully edited by Tim to extend it, ensuring it lasted for the bride’s grand entrance. As Katrina walked down the aisle, the music swelled, filling the amphitheater with an ethereal feeling. The live performance made the moment even more special.

During the signing of the registry, the couple selected two songs chosen by the artists, which were performed live to accompany the intimate moments. The recessional was followed by “We Belong Together” by Randy Newman, a joyful and celebratory tune that signaled the start of the festivities.

After the ceremony, guests moved to the Boat Shed for the canapés. This portion of the evening was lighthearted and laid-back, with Tim and Jo playing a 30-minute live set to accompany the cocktail hour.
